Sync posture
Flynt is local-first. Sync is explicit infrastructure layered on top of a folder you own.
What exists
Flynt has Git-backed project sync paths, background activity indicators, and release work around task/document indexing. This is useful for individual and deliberate multi-device workflows.
What not to overclaim
0.12.x should not be presented as real-time collaborative sync. Pull/merge semantics, conflict handling, and overwrite safety remain active hardening areas.
Practical guidance
- Use Git history as the audit and rollback layer.
- Keep important projects backed up.
- Treat multi-user collaboration as a deliberate workflow, not invisible magic.
